Dear Malinee and Eric

Thank you so much for 8 wonderfull days at your place! The service you provided was outstanding, we are already mssing it!!

The service we recieved was: Free transfer to and from airport, free transport to the beach, sand toys for our 2 year old son, excellent dinners at the poolside, delicious breakfasts, organizing dinners outside and babysitter etc etc

We would give this place 6 out of 5 stars if possible!!

We wilden u bedanken voor de goede ontvangst in Baan Malinee.

Je bent een fantastische gastheer met een persoonlijke aanpak!

Baan Malinee is een zeer romantisch, mooi mini-resort met comfortabele, luxueuse kamers.

Ook de tuin en het zwembad zijn zeer aangenaam om in te vertoeven.

En de keuken maakt het helemaal compleet! Zowel ontbijt als diner.

Malinee speelt hier natuurlijk ook een positieve rol in. En niet te vergeten "Poeh"...

Kortom, we waren zeer tevreden over ons verblijf bij u en hopen nog eens terug te kunnen komen,

Thank you again for your hospitality, your B&B has been our best accomodation in thailand, as we wrote on our report for the "turisti per caso" magazine, so (if published) we hope that many other italian travellers will choose the Baan Malinee. We underlined the amazing breakfast and your kindness in helping for pratical stuff as luggage and motorbike.

So, goodbye and sure to see you again next time in Phuket!

Beste Eric en Malinee,

Bedankt voor de heerlijke week die we bij jullie doorgebracht hebben ! Het hartelijke ontvangst, de kleine versnaperingen die we telkens op onze kamer vonden bij terugkomst, de leuke babbels, gezellige avonden en de rustige omgeving maakten het voor ons een onvergetelijke vakantie !

Het ontbijt en het avondmaal waren telkens fantastisch ! En Erik, je hield ook rekening met de kindjes, wat we heel hard geapprecieerd hebben !

Als wij terugkeren naar Phuket hoeven wij alvast geen accommodatie meer te zoeken, wij komen gewoon terug bij jullie logeren, zonder twijfel !!

Wir waren jetzt das 4. Mal bei den Gastgebern Eric und Malinee und möchten nächstes Jahr unbedingt wieder dorthin.
Es ist schwer mit Worten diese Unterkunft zu beschreiben, man muss sie erleben.
Wer eine ruhige Atmosphäre sucht und Wert auf Privatsphäre legt, ist hier genau richtig. Baan Malinee hat 4 Zimmer in drei Bungalows, die rund um den Pool stehen und im Stil thailändischer Häuser gebaut wurden. Alle Zimmer haben direkten Zugang zum Pool. Das Besondere an diesem Pool ist, dass er Salzwasser enthält, was viel angenehmer ist als Chlor. Die Gartenanlage ist top gepflegt, mit viel Grün.
Die Zimmer sind mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Jedes ist nach einem thailändischen Musikinstrument benannt, welches natürlich auch im Zimmer zu finden ist. Jedes Zimmer hat einen Jacuzzi!
Das Essen ist fantastisch. Morgens gibt es neben einem kleinen, feinen Buffet mit frischen Früchten (nicht nur die Standardfrüchte Banane und Ananas, sondern auch Mangosteen, Rambutan, Dragonfrucht.......je nach Saison) und frisch gepressten Säften, europäischen Aufschnitt und Käse. Selbstgebackenes Brot und selbstgemachte Marmelade sind selbstverständlich. Dazu gibt es eine Eierspeise (Rührei, Omelett...), die die Gastgeber nach Wunsch zubereiten und so liebevoll anrichten wie in einem 5 Sterne Restaurant. Überhaupt kommen wir beim Essen ins Schwärmen. Auf Wunsch gibt es ein Menue am Abend. Malinee ist dabei für die thailändische Küche zuständig und Eric für die europäische. Ich habe mehrere Jahre in Thailand gelebt und muss sagen, dass ich bislang selten so gut gegessen habe. Überhaupt sind Malinee und Eric die besten Gastgeber, die frau/mann sich vorstellen kann. Sie sind gut auf der Insel vernetzt und organisieren alles, was wir so brauchen. Das Moped und das Auto wird direkt ans Haus gebracht. Als eines Abends mein Moped einen Platten hatte, ist Malinee sogar zur Werkstatt gefahren. Das sind nur einige Beispiele, die zeigen, dass wir uns sehr willkommen und umsorgt fühlten.
Die Lage des Hauses ist für uns ideal. Es ist in nah von der Stadt Cherngtalay im Zentrum der Insel gelegen. Wir genießen fernab vom Massentourismus authentisches Leben auf Phuket. Nach Cherngtalay mit Banken, Markt, kleinen Geschäften kommt man in wenigen Minuten mit dem Moped. Aber wir hätten auch mit dem Fahrrad fahren können, die es im Baan Malinee kostenlos auszuleihen gibt. Wenn wir doch mal ins quirlige Nachtleben im Süden der Insel wollen, organisert Eric ein Taxi. Wenn wir an den Strand wollen, fahren wir entweder an den zur Laguna gehörenden Bang Tao Beach oder zum Layan Beach, wo man fast den gesamten Strand für sich alleine hat. Eric bietet jeden Morgen an, Gäste zum Strand zu fahren und natürlich auch wieder abzuholen. Am Nachmittag noch einen Mango-Shake am Pool und der Tag ist für uns perfekt.
Warum wir dieses Haus nicht geheim für uns behalten? Weil Malinee und Eric einfach die besten Gastgeber sind und es mehr als verdient haben, dass sie eine angemessene Rückmeldung für ihr Engagement und ihre wunderschöne Anlage bekommen. Wenn wir könnten, würden wir auch sechs Sterne geben.

I was incredibly fortunate to contact Eric and Malinee and find out that on my spur of the moment trip to Phuket they had a room available for me. They kindly picked me up at the airport and asked me if I wanted to accompany them to the market to pick up some fruit, I felt like family in an instant. Eric and Malinee made me feel comfortable and could not have been more hospitable. They arranged excursions for me, made suggestions for fun things to do and great places to eat. I was also able to purchase some beautiful pearl necklaces made by Malinee that my family loved. Breakfast every day was delicious and lovely by their pool. I rested and was able to enjoy Phuket, this was the highlight of my trip to Thailand! Thank you Eric and Malinee I cannot wait to return with my family.

Words cannot describe the moment Eric opened the door to Baan Malinee and we walked in....... we all needed a moment to let this heavenly place sink in. The house, the garden, the pool, the rooms........... It was good to let us sit, enjoy a cooling towel and welcome drink so we could catch our breath again. And this was not the end of it. We stayed in two rooms, connected by a corridor and both equally comfortable and luxurious. All eye is given to details and the traditional Thai elements make it very tranquil and pleasant. Just one step outside of the room and you can enjoy a great sunbathing time on a relax chair or in the pool. Dinner is served with equally great service and the food, absolutely adorable. Eric and Malinee make this your best stay in Thailand. And then breakfast.............. hearing the coffee machine grinding the bones, seeing the freshly prepared fruit (Malinee goes to the market every early morning to collect everything fresh!) and the wonderful choice of extra's.

The service includes transfer, shuttle service to the laguna beach (beautiful!) and organising much much more. You want scooters? Eric will organize, they will be delivered and collected at the doorstep. Exploring the island by scooter is the best way to go.

We planned 2 nights at Baan Malinee and within 5 minutes decided we needed to come back. We were lucky to be able to get a luxury room (with 2 extra beds this time - plenty of space) for another 2 nights. Upfront reservation is a must, because this heavenly place is wanted! Second stay already felt like coming home................. without a doubt this was partially caused by the delicious cakes & fruit we found in our room - what a treat!

I am looking for more words to describe, but can only say, if you go to Phuket, go find Baan Malinee and experience this.

We hebben inderdaad nog een aantal fijne dagen gehad in Bangkok !

We willen jullie bedanken voor de hartelijke ontvangst en de goede zorgen tijdens ons verblijf.

We hebben een fantastische tijd gehad en kijken met plezier (en een beetje weemoed) terug op ons verblijf nu we weer in het koude en natte België zijn…

Wanneer we weer richting Phuket komen zullen we niet aarzelen om snel onze kamer te reserveren… J

tout est reuni pour passer d'excellentes vacances, ERIC et MALINEE sont d(une grande gentillesse , nous vous conseiilons d'y manger , c'est sublime , vous avez le choix entre thailandais ou européen , leurs cuisines sont excellentes et très copieuses. les chambres sont spacieuses et propres.bisous a vous deux et a très bientot. les bretons de france

We stayed here for five nights and loved every minute of it.
The rooms are very nice, spacious, good bed etc.
Very good breakfast ! Everything fresh. Nice pool. And we also loved the tranquil area. Thanks to Erik and Malinee for making our stay so lovely. Next time we are in Thailand we will definitely return to Baan Malinee...

Hi Eric and Malinee

I hope all is well at Bann Malinee, we are both missing the place and of course the weather and Thailand!

Thanks to all, from both of us, for making our holiday such a great time. We have some great memories and pictures.

We will not hesitate in promoting your holiday homes, already the promotions have started with Christines nephew, in Australia and niece here in Hull asking for details.

Maybe we will come back and stay one day, if you haven't already retired!

I've been all over the world ...
but never find a home like Baan Malinee, its a beautifull and peacefull place ...

First i want to keep this as a secret but as a buddhist practisor i have to share this "heavenly" place with everyone ....
no word can explain this, you have to experience it yourself.

About Eric and Malinee (the owners) : feels like family.
We wish we still where there at your side, see u soon again, that's a promise.

Sawadi kah liebe Malinee und lieber Eric,

Deutschland hat uns leider wieder zurück - dank deinem Einsatz hatten wir einen angenehmen Rückflug - nochmals "kop kun kah" hierfür.

Es war wunderschön bei euch! Was wir uns unter einem perfekten Urlaubstag vorstellen, haben wir bei euch erleben können.

Wir sehen uns nächstes Jahr!
